The 435 Project is investigating the finances of all 435 DC incumbents. They've found that UNC-Chapel Hill and Duke are among David Price's top five donors, along with a lawyers' group, a transportation union, and the National Association of Realtors.
As locals might recall, Duke raised tuition in March so that annual undergraduate tuition now tops $50,000.
If you live in the 4th District, you probably know some Duke students or parents working hard to pay their tuition bills. Here's to transparency, as we know where some of that money is going. Three students' entire annual $50,000 tuition will go to David Price's campaign fund.
Even more UNC students will be working off the cost of UNC-Chapel Hill's David Price donations this fall. With an annual in-state tuition cost of $4,066, it will take 38 UNC students to pay for the university's campaign donations to David Price.
